My Social Style
"With awareness of your own individual social style, as well as others, comes the ability to have more effective communications and relationships. The 'social styles' profile is based upon my strengths and gives me a chance to see the strengths of others. With an awareness of the spectrum of social styles, I develop greater tolerance and understanding of other styles, and gain greater versatility in communicating (On the Edge Productions)."
After taking this 'social style' quiz, I discovered that I fall between the analytical and the amiable side of the spectrum.
According to this quiz, which I find alarmingly accurate, I am detail oriented, enjoy approaching problems systematically, and work best in a peaceful and harmonious environment.
Based on my analytical side, I need to work on being able to adapt quickly to change and the needs of others. I also tend to over-analyze many things, and need to stop internalizing little details.
Showing more enthusiasm and emotion would help others more easily relate to me.

How I've Grown as a Learner
Here at Animas there are many ways I have grown as a learner. I've learned to manage my time more efficiently, not procrastinate, think outside of the box, not take the easy road, go above and beyond, and to aim high. It has also taught me how to think like a learner. Teaching me the values of compassion, perseverance, mindfulness, and perspective. Animas has taught me many things, and these are just a few. I look forward to learning many more.
